Hello, I am Natasha. I have been studying with Centre of Excellence since November 2022, completing a number of courses, which I have been putting to good use in my own life. I am a lifelong learner and have always loved studying and sharing my knowledge. Centre of Excellence has opened up a wonderful world of learning opportunities for me. CPD - Continuting Professional Development

 

Centre of Excellence courses are certified by The CPD Certification Service, for which Centre of Excellence is a Corporate Member of.

Continuting Professional Development, CPD, is a commitment to learning and an ongoing process. This can be learning something new, refreshing and/or developing current knowledge and skills or keeping up to date with a profession or industry.

CPD includes online courses, workshops, training courses, webinars, training videos, seminars, events and literature. CPD recognises self led, proactive learning as offered by Centre of Excellence via their online courses. 

With The CPD Certification Service you can log successfully completed Centre of Excellence courses within your myCPD Portal. It is free to set up your account. Logging CPD hours in the portal is optional. Whatever your reason for learning it can be a nice way to see all your achievements. 

Within the myCPD Portal you enter each Centre of Excellence course completed as its own CPD log. Along with a description of the course you can also add information on your learning outcomes and objectives and upload your certificate. From your dashboard you can download your CPD records and easily see everything that you have achieved.

I have used the myCPD Portal since completing my first Centre of Excellence course. You can add the annual CPD hours you would like to attain in your profile. This is optional, but it can help guide how much you would like to learn in the year ahead. Centre of Excellence courses are 150 CPD hours in length. 

Into the description field I enter the level of the course, most courses are level 3, with advanced courses being level 4. I list all the module titles so I have a note of what was covered and other brief information that is helpful.

The learning outcomes and objectives field is optional. I include brief notes about why I took the course and the key points that I have learned.

The CPD Certification Service has a helpful video, What is the CPD Cycle and how does it work? 

The 5 stages of the cycle are:

   - Identify: Identifying your needs
        Where you've come from
        Where you are
        Where you want to be

   - Plan: Planning
        Create clear outcomes and milestones

   - Act: Acting/Doing

Finding Centre of Excellence

I have always loved learning. In the past this included face to face music lessons and craft workshops, and currently I enjoy having Tai Chi lessons. I also enjoy learning from books and more recently learning from online courses. 

In November 2022 I discovered Centre of Excellence. I was looking for an online course about crystals, and I found four on their online learning platform. Since then Centre of Excellence has added more crystal courses.

Their extensive range of crystal courses include:
   - Crystal Healing Diploma, a Level 3 Diploma
   - Advanced Crystal Healing Practitioner, a Level 4 Diploma that follows on from the Level 3.
   - Crystal Healing for Animals, a Level 3 Diploma 

These three courses are accredited by the CMA (The Complimentary Medical Association), The CPD Certification Service, and endorsed by the Quality License Scheme.

I have up until now completed 19 courses on many different topics. I use and apply what I have learned from these courses in my day to day life.

On successful completion of each course I download my Centre of Excellence and Continuing Professional Development certificates. I print off and store in a display book. It is a great feeling being able to put to use everything I have learned, and have a certificate to show what I have achieved.
